作为丝绸之路的主角，丝绸产品及其生产技术和艺术成为丝绸之路上最重要的内容被传播到世界各地，为东西方文明互鉴做出了卓越的贡献。2018年，中国丝绸博物馆举办了世界范围内最大规模的织机展览“神机妙算——世界织机与织造艺术”。基于此，中国丝绸博物馆馆长赵丰联合世界各地专家学者，详细介绍展览中十余个国家的数十套种类各异的织机及丰富多样的织物，展示织机及织物为东西方文明互鉴做出的卓越贡献。

作者介绍
赵丰，博士、研究员，中国丝绸博物馆馆长，东华大学、浙江理工大学博士生导师，国际丝路之绸研究联盟主席，国际博物馆协会职业道德委员会委员、中国博物馆协会服装与设计博物馆专业委员会主任。长期从事纺织科技史、丝绸之路美术考古、纺织品文物保护等研究。发表中英文论文百余篇，独著《中国丝绸艺术史》《唐代丝绸与丝绸之路》《织绣珍品：图说中国丝绸艺术史》《锦程：中国丝绸与丝绸之路》《中国丝绸设计（精选版）》等约20种图书，主编《中国丝绸通史》和“敦煌丝绸艺术全集”“中国古代丝绸设计素材图系”“中国历代丝绸艺术丛书”等丛书。作品曾获中国出版政府奖、中华优秀出版物奖，多次入选国家出版基金项目、国家重点出版物出版规划项目、“三个一百”原创出版工程、“中国好书”等。
