内容大纲
本教材设计了四个部分共14次“读后续写”任务，涵盖记叙、描写、说明、议论、应用写作训练等。其中，Section 1通过英语记叙和描写文体写作的分项训练及能力培养，设计常规续写任务，培养学生讲好故事的能力；Section 2设计常规续写和对比续写任务，训练学生学术说明文体的写作能力，提高学生的学术素养；Section 3设计常规续写和对比续写任务，帮助学生提高议论文写作能力；Section 4设计多轮续写和对比续写任务，综合训练学生的续写能力。续写任务设计以内容创造为主，以语言模仿为辅，明确续写要求和目的。每课训练流程为：话题引入、信息获取、难点分析、续写要点捕捉、写作技巧讲授、续写策略训练、个人自评、同伴反馈、反思学习、课外强化。
教材一方面致力于帮助教师诊断学生在阅读续写素材过程中存在的各种困难及提供有针对性的集中训练；另一方面通过丰富的续写能力培养任务和练习，帮助学生确定续写训练目标，掌握相关的训练方法，切实提高读后续写的能力。
