内容大纲
本书是对Talmy所提出的语言类型学理论的实证研究。该书就汉语的语言类型归属问题从词汇化角度展开了讨论，运用语料库的方法搜集汉语连动式的语料，并对语料进行分析，得出反驳Slobin、部分支持Talmy观点的实证。此外，通过比对汉语、英语和西班牙中的路径动词的词汇化模式和数量，进一步得出汉语处于由一种语言类型向另外一种语言类型发展的过渡阶段的结论。
