内容大纲
    英国船长库克于1778年抵达波利尼西亚人住居的夏威夷群岛。此时的世界已进入蒸汽机工业化时代，西方列强蜂拥而至，打破了那里原始而纯朴的平静。但不管时局如何变化，在1893年美国占领夏威夷之前，夏威夷还是一个受到国际公认的独立的君主王国。
