内容大纲
    《中级口译教程》作为一本主要用于课堂教学的教材，按一学期至少16周、每周不少于3课时的基本培训期要求编排教学内容。换言之，本教程所需课堂教学的课时应达到50课时以上。
    《中级口译教程》以“口译概论”为教学先导，以“培训教程”为教学核心，以“口译测试”为教学检测。
    “口译概论”简要阐述了口译的历史、定义、特点、标准、过程、类型、模式、译员素质、培训、研究这10个话题。“口译概论”旨在帮助学习者从理论的角度来认识口译这门学科，解答“什么是口译”“如何进行合乎规范的口译”“合格的译员应具备何种条件”等问题。“口译概论”这部分的重要性还在于向学习者传递了这样一种信息，即一个人的口译能力不完全等同于其语言水平加翻译技巧，而是现代社会跨语言交际活动中译员的双语能力、翻译技巧和人的素质之综合体现。“口译概论”所讨论的这些问题应成为口译教学开学第一周的主要内容。
    “培训教程”构成口译教学的主要内容，共有16个单元。除了第1单元之外，每个单元均由4篇课文组成。除了篇章课文外，每个单元还含有一些精选句子，供复习之用。本教程的教学安排为每周1个单元，每个单元的课堂教时不少于3课时。
