作者介绍
明生，男，1960年9月出生，汉族，广东惠来县人，硕士。现任中国佛教协会副会长兼慈善公益委员会主任、中国反邪教协会理事、广东省反邪教协会副会长、广东省粤港澳合作促进会名誉会长、广东省佛教协会会长、珠海市佛教协会会长、佛山市佛教协会会长、揭阳市佛教协会会长、广州光孝寺方丈、珠海普陀寺方丈、佛山仁寿寺住持、揭阳永福寺住持，是第十届全国政协委员，第十、十一、十二届全国人大代表。1982年在潮阳沙陇圆通寺出家并常住，1983年7月到山西五台山塔院寺受具足戒，1986-1990年在中国佛学院读佛学并获本科毕业。1991-1993年由广东省佛教协会委派任广东岭东佛学院院长助理并执教，后任该院副院长，1996年当选为广东省佛教协会秘书长，2000年当选为广东省佛教协会副会长兼秘书长、珠海普陀寺住持，2001年当选为中国佛教协会副会长，2003年当选为全国人大代表、全国政协委员，2004年至今任广东省佛教协会会长、佛山市佛教协会会长，2006年任光孝寺方丈，2008年任珠海市佛教协会会长，2009-2011年在华南理工大学攻读管理学并获硕士学位，2012年泰国朱拉隆功大学授予法师荣誉博士学位，2012年获缅甸总统吴登盛亲自颁发缅甸最高荣誉勋章，2016年获斯里兰卡总统迈特里帕拉·西里塞纳亲自颁发斯里兰卡弘法杰出贡献奖。
