内容大纲
本书选择216首唐诗词进行英译，包括唐朝著名诗人如王昌龄、李白、杜甫、杜牧等的诗歌以及一些脍炙人口、人们耳熟能详的唐诗，涉及的诗歌形式有五言、七言、五绝、七绝、五律、七律等。本译著的创新之处在于每首诗做严格押韵，英文字数也作限制，无限接近原文字数，尽量还原中国古诗词中的诸如修辞以及意象之美，通过比较，引导读者对唐诗英译技巧与理论有更深刻的认识。读者对象为高等院校中国古典诗词英译研究者，外国语言文学专业研究生、本科生。

作者介绍
霍红，博士，扬州大学外国语学院副教授、硕士生导师。主要学术兴趣有语用学、文学翻译及二语习得。江苏省翻译工作者协会会员。主持江苏省教育厅哲学社会科学研究项目1项，参与国家社科基金项目3项，主持多项校级科研项目，出版教材2部，在省级及以上期刊发表学术论文十余篇；发表于《英语世界》的译作3篇。
