作者介绍
沃尔特·惠特曼（Walt Whitman，1819.5.31-1892.3.26），美国诗人、散文家、新闻工作者及人文主义者。他身处于超验主义与现实主义间的变革时期，著作兼并了二者的文风。惠特曼是美国文坛中最伟大的诗人之一，有“自由诗之父”美誉。他的文作在当代实具争议性。他生前在美国从来不是个受欢迎的诗人，死后却出现了一代又一代深受他影响的美国诗人和外国诗人。
